Yes, today is a rainy day! This is definitely a rainy day thought. Pooh loved Piglet & I loved Grandmother MeMe! Mae & Me Designs is named for her. Hattie Mae Stephenson. She died on Joe’s 2nd birthday 7/25/99. This is a perfect “quotable” & so sweet & true ~ those we love are always with us in our hearts. The memories are treasured & enjoyed ~ especially on rainy days.

My mother always told me, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all!” Very often this has left me speechless! Ha Ha! Or better yet it has helped me with the phrase, “I’ve never regretted anything I didn’t say!” Ponder this: If it wasn’t nice & I didn’t say it, I don’t have to regret it.” Wow… my mother is a smart woman & I’m just now figuring that out???? So many times I speak quickly & without much thought or rationality & WHAM I’m in a bad spot! Now I am going to try & “taste” my words before spitting them out! Let’s see how that goes!
Today’s quote is on the smaller chalkboard with a lime green frame. The chalkboards are truly versatile. You can display on an easel or hang on the wall. I can not describe the quality enough ~ awesome custom framing with 100% distressed wood. Beautiful accent ~ The wine bottle lights add character & interest. M&M makes both these products. The embossing on the bottles is done by hand. Unbelievable the love & care that goes into making these products! It is so much fun & we love when an idea comes together into an awesome finished product. I get so excited about all the designs. I just love Mae & Me Designs!

Thank you God for protection! I am always in need of protection & mainly from the ordinary negative thoughts. Isn’t is funny we are our own worst enemy? If I listened to myself I would be a mess. Thank God he protects me & gives me positive support through friends & family! How nice to hear: “You can do this!” “You are a precious, too Mama!” “Darling, I love you!” “I am amazed at what you do!” “I love the monogrammed carrybag I purchased!” “We got orders today!” or just the little positive smile from the cashier @ the grocery ~ A kind wave ~ Oh and the best of the best… kisses from my mini dachshund, Gipper! He always is ready to be playful & positive with tons of his love!
Mae & Me Designs is going & thank God we will be protected when we get there! I intend to be positive & continue in the positive direction… Oh & when that ol’ devil peeps in I will bask in the protection of love & support!

I love sayings & quotes. It just gives you another way to see your everyday. It gives you something to ponder. Sometimes I like humorous ~ sometimes thoughtful ~ sometimes witty ~ often sweet ~ always tasteful! It is like reading a novel but just a snippet. Lately, I haven’t the time to read a novel but a snippet is doable! I do have time for a snippet! I am going to devote this area of my porch as the “quotable of the day!”
The chalkboards are one of the reasons I have not time to read! I seem to be filling up my days with ideas & dreams. The chalkboards are handmade ~ the framing is custom ~ the wood is real ~ the finished product is awesome. Let Mae & Me Designs make one for you! There are so many ways to use the chalkboards. My mind is thinking about the beach! I can not help it because it is so beautiful outside. There will be may more days of cold before the final jump into warmer weather but the tease brings on dreams of warm blue water!!
